Update: It looks like that door wasn't the door they were supposed to open, but a passage nearby. They didn't open that passageway either, but using "tcl" i discovered a different passageway and was able to advanced the quest. Problem averted!

I'm not able to post to the other forum. I guess that forum is closed down, although it doesn't tell me why. This is from the original quest line but it is the expansion version of the game from steam. At the end of the quest "The shards of order, part I" there is a door you're supposed to teleport ...
