Broken Guard

Just a simple question... After I get out of the caves in the starter area, I come upon a small settlement. I sold some stuff to the vendor and I pissed off some bad guys outside the gate in order for them to drop some soap. All very well, but the guard who is supposed to have some "Tasks" in his dialog never does. He just warns me not to go near the gate and runs around like he's angry. Any ideas on how to fix this error?

Are you sure the quest is broken?
Have you finished the quest with the soap and gave the soap to Karic? And have you spoken to Merre after finishing the quest with the soap? If not, the guard will not give you a new quest.

Ok thank you. Very good mod for Oblivion. I used to play Oblivion and I noticed this mod by reading PC Gamer, so I gave it a spin. It isn't too bad...heavy on content and decent building, but touchy on questing. I notice some Cloud Tower or something like it for download on mods for this..err....mod....but it doesn't work after I run the Nehrim launcher and I check the data file. Is there any other good mods for Nehrim that are "homes" or "houses" or dwellings? Thanks!

Personally, I don't use mods with Nehrim. As far as I've read, some mods can mess up the game a bit.
But be patient, you will be able to own your house or... even more.
For general storage, personal storage chests are incredibly useful. However, I do wish I was able to decorate my house/interiors in Nehrim more

I am just looking for a list of working mods that I might be interested in, not a mod request list. I appreciate your response and I am hoping to just find a spot that has stuff that is known to work with Nehrim....like a working chest, or a simple house. Just someplace to stash my crap really. Btw. What's wrong with you Personal Storage Chest ? You probalby finished the quests at the Mine site, so have you reached Tirin Abbey? You find a first Stoarge Chest there.

Doesn't the Cloud Tower appear on Salathin coast? It's regrettable because the Tower is a very good house.
There are some interesting house mods in the German forum. But if you want English mod, for the moment another one is Nehrim Edelweiss Haus.

LOL..ok..thank you. VERY helpful. It is hard to navigate the German language, but being with my past life I had in the 1940's...it's nice to look at. Yes...I am afraid I was possibly being impatient, so I appreciate the direction. And also thank you for the list.
