How can one change this...? Despite intentions, it does not seem to work within the launcher. The Construction Set still reads them in load order... which is WRONG. I got a mod (made for Nehrim) that makes plants disappear when harvested, but English.esp loads after and, since it changes their names, changes the effects back. I do not mind have German-named plants for less harvesting confusion and would like to move the harvesting *.esp at the second-bottom place (my Tweaks.esp is occupying the bottom currently - as it should)

Normally I would fix this with the Oblivion Mod Manager, but obviously that program was written for Oblivion and does not work for Nehrim. How can I modify orders manually...?

EDIT FOR OTHERS:
Managed a workaround. Copied OMM *.exe to Nehrim's folder, and temporarily renamed Nehrim_default.ini to Oblivion_default.ini - made my changes, then changed the name back again. Seems to work..! - though I had to re-enable the data files in the launcher.

Hi.
Sorry missed reading your edit, see last paragraph on some better options.

OBMM will work for Nehrim.
What you can do is copy all the obmm folders/files to Nehrim folder. OBMM exe, obmm folder, there might be a couple of things in the data folder cannot remember.
It will work, but if you still play Oblivion when you fire it up you have to untick Nehrim mods and retick Oblivion mods.

Couple of ways to avoid this are, create second user account or install something like mTes (which I think is ideal for modders). See this link to post on this forum

Hope this helps.

A really good thread on managing mods with Nehrim is running over at the BethSoft forums - I suggest taking a look at that. Most modding tools that weren't initially compatible with Nehrim have now been adapted or hacked and the how-tos are posted there.

Hi.

Have you a link to it. Just looked could not find it.
Interested because I thought I had all the tools needed, up and working perfectly well with Nehrim. (Wrye Bash, CS editor, Tes4Edit, OBMM, OBSE).
Only been teaching myself though for the last 2 months, so if I'm missing anything or there are different ways to use, I would be interested.

Cheers :)

mTES4 Manager - current thread: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/t ... 4-manager/
Old thread: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/t ... ager/mTES4 Manager/

You may be interested as well in my thread on Nehrim and Mods: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/t ... -and-mods/

My thread on BOSS and Nehrim: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/t ... or-nehrim/ also featured here. I'd sure like to hear any input you have on load order logic that BOSS might be lacking with regard to Nehrim.

and if I can also take the opportunity to post a link to the thread most people know me by which is a tutorial on using the Wrye Bash installer BAIN: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/t ... -projects/

with mTES4 Manager I've created 5 installs on my computer:
1. A base install I used to clone all the other installs that included all the basic edits to the ini, BSA optimizations, enable the exe to handle more ram, etc.
2. A base install with all the tools for just modding and editing.
2. My main character with extensive load order of FCOM and all the english hits.
3. An alternate character with extensive load order and more experimental overhauls of TIE and WAC: http://waalx.com/RealSwordsForum/viewforum.php?f=13
5. Nehrim install.

I can swap between the installs in seconds. The downside is that it does take a lot of disc space to have all this. Improvements are coming with Wrye Bash to better manage the BAIN directory when having multiple installs.

Hi.

Cheers for all the links. A lot of reading there. Have done my normal skim read, will go back and take in a bit more soon.

Have never used BOSS, had not heard of it. Have now downloaded and will try it out. Let you know what I think once tested for a while.

Do not use an extensive ammount of mods in Nehrim yet, about 15 in the one install (never used mods before Nehrim). Now have one virginal Oblivion install, one Oblivion install upto (almost) its mod limit, like to see what the mod looked like in Oblivion before converting esp (90% armour/weapons) to Nehrim.

Using Wrye Bash I have found I cannot use Bashed patches in Nehrim, they crash the game. Maybe it is because I had to copy oblivion.esm into folder to get (forget which) a piece of software to work correctly.
I did have Wrye Bash/OBMM/OBSE/CSeditor and Tes4edit working in 2 Nehrim installs before installing mTES4 but my desktop was a bit of a mess and still had to untick/retick mods. Was using reg files which changed all the install locations. Was at the point of considering reteaching myself batch file creation/scripting to do automatic renaming of files/folders. So to the developer of mTES4 thankyou.

I might sound daft here, but what is TIE? I believe figured out what WAC is!!
The screenshots on that site are amazing. Would make great wallpaper etc for desktop.

The disk space used (45gb on mine used for 5 installs) would be a concern to some. I guess I'm lucky (or did something right for once), the pc case used has a 3 drive swappable internal caddy and have (covered in dust somewhere) an external usb caddy for use with old ide drives.

Cheers again for the links and info :D

Well for more info on those mods and how to use mTES4 Manager and so on I recommend signing up at bethesda forums and asking there. While this forum is fascinating it is not geared toward all things Oblivion and is more specifically for Nehrim. Kinda this is the way I see it. Bethesda forums are where mod users talk directly to mod makers, Nexus is where mods are showcased after being made, TESAlliance is where mod makers talk to each other.

TIE stands for Tamriel Immersion Experience: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35265 It is an overhaul like OOO, except that it unlevels most game play (you can meet or find any level creature or item at level 1 forward). WAC is also unlevled so they match more than other combos.

Bashed patches will not work with Nehrim for a multitude of reasons - well you can do things like make camera adjustments or clothing tweaks but that is about it. I wouldn't expect this to change soon as bash developers are already swimming with feature requests. Bash from 290 onwards can open without the Oblivion.esm and with the Nehrim.esm.

My main character install of Oblivion is 35 gigs - the second around 20 gigs- Nehrim is the lightest of all.

Again the fastest feedback and news you are going to get on modding Oblivion is at the Bethesda forums. I use the same name there maybe I'll see ya there.
