Starting a New game

I just downloaded Nehrim and when I try to start a new game it asks me to start a new game and I'll hit yes and nothing will happen. please help.

Have you activated the game files in the launcher? Assuming you want to play the game without modifications (Nehrim-specific modifications) only "Nehrim.esm" and "NehrimData.esp" should be activated. Maybe also some english language file, I only have the german version. Oblivion-related files should not be activated.
