Enderal not detecting AMD graphics card

Whenever launching the game, Enderal only detects my integrated graphics. I have tried everything I can think of, from updating my drivers to disabling my integrated graphics, which only caused it to revert to microsoft graphics, but nothing I try works. Anyone have any Ideas?
My graphics card is a AMD Radeon RX 6600, and my current drivers are Adrenalin edition 24.4.1

first a few questions to better understand your problem:

- which version of Enderal do you have installed (classic edition from 2019, special edition from 2021)?
- how did you recognize that Enderal uses your integrated graphics? In the launcher.log?
- have you disabled your integrated graphics in the Bios/UEFI? Do you currently need it at all (up to four monitors can be connected to your RX 6600)?

Demand that occurred to us:
do you have the same problem in other games?
Maybe a new clean install of Enderal will help.

Uninstall Enderal and manually delete these remaining folders:

...\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Enderal or Enderal Special Edition
C:\user\"username"\AppData\Local\Enderal or Enderal Special Edition
C:\user\"username"\Documents\my games\Enderal or Enderal Special Edition

Then restart Steam / the PC and reinstall Enderal or Enderal Special Edition.

Run the three exe files again as administrator.

Disable the write protection that Windows may have set on the folders (right-click on folder -> Properties -> uncheck "read-only")
